Revise Course Murli 06/01/1990
The Incorporeal point of light, God Shiva, has descended on this earth and is establishing righteousness (Dharma) through knowledge and power.
One should read the Murli in a soul-conscious state as taught by The Supreme Teacher and Sadhguru Shiv Baba. Thoughts to create the soul conscious state are as follows:
1. I am a Peaceful Soul; God Shiva is my Supreme Father.
2. I am a Godly student; God Shiva is my Supreme teacher.
3. God Shiva is my Sadhguru; I am Master Sadhguru.
4. God Shiva is my life partner; I am God Shiva's life partner.
The Soul conscious stage/yoga stage becomes natural when all relations are established with Shiva Baba, and the duty of that relation is practised in the Brahmin life.
While in the Soul-Conscious stage, Murli should be read with the feeling that the Supreme Teacher and Sadhguru Shiv Baba are talking to me directly and teaching me personally.
The definition of a holy swan.
Today, the Father, the Ocean of Knowledge, is seeing the gathering of holy swans. Holy swans are souls with cleanliness and specialities. Cleanliness means purity in thoughts, words, actions and relationships in everything. The colour white is always shown as a sign of purity. You holy swans are ones with white clothing and a clean heart; that is, you are embodiments of cleanliness. Constantly being without a flaw in body, mind, and heart means having cleanliness. No matter how clean and pure some may be in their body, which is external, if they are not clean and pure in the mind, it is said, "First of all, keep the mind clean."
The Lord is pleased with those who have a clean mind and a clean heart and, together with that, fulfils all the desires of those with a clean heart. The speciality of a swan is that it is clean. This is why you Brahmin souls are called holy swans. Check and see: Is there cleanliness in all the four aspects of mind, body, heart, and relationships in me, the soul, who is a holy swan? Complete cleanliness and purity are everyone's aim at the confluence age. This is why you Brahmins, who are to become deities, are remembered as those who are entirely pure. It is not simply said 'viceless', but it is said 'completely viceless'. It is said: '16 celestial degrees'. It is not only said '16 celestial degrees', but 'complete' is said with that. It is your deity form that is praised, but when did you become that? During your Brahmin life or your deity life?
The time now, the confluence age, is the time to become that. Therefore, check to what extent, to what percentage, you have imbibed cleanliness, that is, purity. Cleanliness of the body means constantly having the awareness of the body being the temple of the soul and keeping it clean with that awareness. The more elevated the idol is, the more elevated the temple is. So, are you ordinary idols or elevated idols? Brahmin souls are the number one elevated souls out of the entire cycle. Compared to Brahmins, deities are as valuable as gold, whereas Brahmins are as valuable as diamonds. So, all of you are images of diamonds. So, how elevated you have become! Recognise your self respect, and keep the temple, your body, constantly clean; it should be simple yet clean.
Purity of the body through this method will constantly bring the experience of spiritual fragrance. To what extent have you imbibed such cleanliness and purity? There is no cleanliness in body consciousness. However, you consider it to be the temple of the soul, and you therefore keep it clean; and that temple has been given to you by the Father to look after and use. He has made you a trustee of that temple. You have given your mind, body weight, lth, everything, have you not? It is not yours any longer. Would you say, "It is mine" or "It is Yours."? By becoming trustees, you automatically become free from attachments and bring about cleanliness and purity in yourself.
It is not cleanliness with attachments, but you keep the body clean and pure with the consciousness that Baba has given you for service. Or do you use the body in any ordinary way? Cleanliness is also a sign of spirituality. In the same way, also maintain the percentage of cleanliness, that is, purity in your mind. If there is any impure thought in your mind during the day, it cannot be called complete cleanliness. BapDada's direction for the mind is: Focus your mind on Me. Use it for world service. So, always have an awareness of the mantra of Manmanabhav. This is known as cleanliness and purity of the mind. If the mind wanders towards anyone else, then that wandering means that there is no cleanliness. Check with this method and see what percentage of cleanliness you have achieved. You know the details of this, don't you?
The third aspect is cleanliness in the heart. You know that honesty is cleanliness. Put your self progress that is, your effort, whatever it is, honestly in front of the Father. So, firstly, there is the cleanliness in your efforts, and secondly, the extent to which you are doing service with a true heart. And so, there should be cleanliness in this aspect. If you are doing service with any selfish motive, it cannot be called true service. So, to what extent are honesty and cleanliness in service? Some of you think, "We have to do service anyway." Just as when lokik government officers have to do their duties, whether they do that with a true heart, with carelessness or out of compulsion, they somehow have to pass those 8 hours.
In the same way, if you think that this service is a duty you have been given by the Almighty Government, for you to do service in this consciousness is not called true service. It is not just a duty, for the original sanskars of Brahmin souls are of service. The original sanskars will only allow you to stay if you do true service. So, check this way to see what percentage of your service has been done with a true heart, that is, with the original sanskars of Brahmin life. You have had so many melas and given so many courses, but what is the percentage of cleanliness and purity in that? It is not just your duty but your original sanskar, your original dharma (religion) and your original karma (action).
The fourth aspect is cleanliness in relationships. In essence, especially check this: To what percentage is there cleanliness in the form of contentment? Throughout the day, there are relationships with a variety of souls. You come into connection with three types of relationships: First with the Brahmin family, second with souls who are students and thirdly with the lokik family. In all three types of relationships, what was the percentage of contentment of the self and of those souls who came into connection with you throughout the day? The sign of your contentment is that you will be light in the mind and remain happy and that others will also remain happy with you.
The sign of discontentment is that you will be heavy in your mind. If you are a true effort maker, then the thought will repeatedly keep entering your mind, even against your conscious wish: I should not have said this; it would have been better if I hadn't done this; it would have been better to say and do this. Careless effort makers will not even have this thought. This burden will not allow you to remain happy; it will not allow you to remain light. Cleanliness in relationships means contentment. This is honesty and cleanliness in relationships. This is why you people say, "One who is true dances"; that is, one who is honest constantly dances in happiness. So, did you hear the definition of a holy swan? If there isn't the cleanliness of truth, then although you are swans, you are not holy swans.
You are remembered as complete and perfect, so check to what extent you have become that. If today, according to the drama, the account with your body were to be completed, with what percentage would you pass? Or tell the drama to wait a little longer. You are not sitting here with the thought that the young ones will not depart (die), are you? What is the meaning of being ever ready? Does it mean to wait for time in anticipation and think that 10 or 11 years are still left? Mostly, you think that there is time up to the year 2000. The question of the world's destruction is separate from that of keeping yourself ready. Therefore, do not mix up the two.
Different souls have different parts. Therefore, do not think that you do not have a part in the advance party or have a part after destruction. Some souls do have that part, but you should remain ever ready. Otherwise, traces of carelessness will emerge. Be ever ready. Then, even if you live for 20 years more, it doesn't matter. However, don't live based on that. This is what it means to be a holy swan. You have come to the shore of the Ocean of Knowledge, have you not? So, today, you have been told about the cleanliness of holy swans. Baba will tell you about their specialities at another time.
Do the teachers know how to check? Teachers have the special fortune of being surrendered. Even if those in a household are surrendered with the mind, the teachers have a special fortune. Their work is remembrance and service. Whether you prepare food or wash clothes, that is also yagya service, a service in alokik life. Those in a household have to fulfil responsibilities on both sides. You only have one type of work; you do not have double work. Those who constantly remain engaged to the Father and with service do not need to make any other effort. You were told that the Bhandara (kitchen) and Bhandari (treasure store) of a worthy teacher would constantly remain full. They will not need to worry about how everything will happen the following month or how a mela will take place.
Along with service, the means to carry it out will also automatically be available. The spiritual attraction will automatically expand service and the service centre. When you think too much about why the number of students doesn't increase, why they do not stay or why they go away, then the students will not stay. If you remain yogyukt and invoke them through your spirituality, the number of students will automatically increase. This happens. Always keep the mind light. There shouldn't be any burden. If there is any burden, whether of the self, of service or service companions, it will not allow you to fly. Service will not be uplifted either. Therefore, constantly keep the heart clean and continue to attain your desires. Attainment will automatically appear in front of you. What did you hear? All spiritual attainments are for Brahmins anyway; where else would they go? It is the right of you people. No one can snatch away your rights. Okay.
To all the holy swans in all directions who please the true Lord, to the elevated souls who have a true heart, to the number one children who constantly keep themselves everready, to the ones who make themselves worthy of praise, complete and perfect, to Baba's close children, to the experienced souls who have the experience of considering themselves to be as worthy as diamonds, BapDada's love, remembrance and namaste.
BapDada meeting Maharashtra group: Do you always remain in a happy state? To be in a state of happiness means to be full and perfect. You, yourself, and others love to be in a state of happiness. Where there isn't happiness, it is said to be a jungle of thorns. So, the lives of all of you have become happy. And what is your way of interacting? It has become that of the flying stage, like that of the angels. So your state is good, and your way of interacting is also good. When people of the world meet one another, they ask one another about their welfare. So what is your welfare? Your state is that of happiness, and your interaction is like that of angels. Both are good, are they not?
In a state of happiness (also in a blossoming garden), there won't be any thorns. Previously, your life was in a jungle of thorns, and it has now changed. You have now come into a garden of blossoming flowers. In your life, you always have a flower garden of divine virtues. You make a picture of a bouquet of divine virtues, do you not? What is that bouquet of divine virtues? It is of you. Or is it someone else? A bouquet is never made of thorns; it is made of flowers. If there were only leaves in a bouquet, it was not good. So, you yourselves are bouquets of divine virtues; that is, you are in a state of happiness. Whoever comes into contact with you will continue to receive the fragrance of the flowers of divine virtues, and when they see everything blossoming, they will be happy.
They will also experience power. Nowadays, even doctors ask people to go for walks in parks. So this blossoming will make others powerful and also bring them happiness. This is why you say that you are everhappy. You even issue a challenge, saying that anyone who wants to become everhappy should come to you. You will remind everyone of the Father. Therefore, to be everhealthy, everwealthy and everhappy is your birthright. So you have received this right, have you not? You tell everyone it is their birthright. Even if your body is ill, your mind is healthy. If your mind is happy, the world is happy. And if your mind is ill, then your face turns pale.
If your mind is in a good state, you won't feel any illness in the body. Is it like that, or not, because you have very good nourishment of happiness? When you have good medicine, the illness goes away. The nourishment of happiness you have chases your illness away; it makes you forget it. So, when your mind is happy, the world and your life are happy. Therefore, you are everhealthy, wealthy and happy. When you are this, you can then challenge others. Otherwise, you can't issue this challenge. Seeing yourself, you feel mercy for others because it is your family. No matter what souls are like, they are all of the same family. Whoever you see, you would feel that that one is your brother and that he belongs to your family.
In a family, some are close relations, and others are distant, but they would still be said to be of the same family. Just as the Father is merciful and you ask him to have mercy for you, so you too will have mercy and be compassionate, will you not? You have become instruments, like the Father. Brahmin souls can never dislike other souls. You would feel mercy, but you cannot dislike them because you know that even if someone is like Kans, Jarasandha or Ravan, they are still children of the merciful Father, so you would not dislike them. You would have feelings of benevolence and for their transformation. After all, they are your family and under an external influence. You would never dislike someone who is under an external influence.
All are influenced by Maya. So, you would feel mercy and compassion for those influenced by others. Where there isn't dislike, there won't be any anger. When there is dislike, there is a force of anger; where there is mercy, you will donate peace. You are children of the Bestower, are you not? So, you would give peace. Okay.
Are all of you those who always remain happy, or does your happiness sometimes disappear? If anger comes, that is a fire, and it will destroy your happiness. Never get angry. Those who are merciful can never get angry. Pandavs especially have anger, and mothers have attachments.
They would even keep money hidden away. They would even keep old notes hidden away. You are now conquerors of attachment, are you not? You haven't kept notes hidden in a bundle of old clothes, have you? No matter how many safes or trunks you have, mothers habitually keep a bundle of notes hidden away. If nowhere else, she would keep them tied in a saree. So, you still need to tie up and put away something, have you? Have the Pandavs kept a little bit of anger or arrogance hidden away? You haven't kept it in the pocket of your mind, hidden away, for a time of need? Let there be no trace of it remaining. Any trace will create a progeny. Therefore, it becomes empty. Okay.
The method taught by the Supreme Teacher and Sadguru Shiv Baba after reading Murli is "Churning."
Shiv Baba explained the method of churning in four Murlis.
01.02.1979
23.12.1987
10.01.1988
07.04.1981
The power of churning is the food for the divine intellect.
"What is the essence of each statement? At what time and by what method should each sentence be used in action? And by what method should each sentence be used in action in service to other souls?" - Each sentence should be churned in these four ways.
By churning the knowledge, we will have powerful thoughts, stage, and awareness.
By churning the knowledge, we will automatically remember The bestower of knowledge, Shiv Baba.
To know the thoughts used for churning, see the column heading “Treasure of Powerful Thoughts.”
