Revise Course Murli 10/06/1972

The Incorporeal point of light, God Shiva, has descended on this earth and is establishing righteousness (Dharma) through knowledge and power.

One should read the Murli in a soul-conscious state as taught by The Supreme Teacher and Sadhguru Shiv Baba. Thoughts to create the soul conscious state are as follows:

1. I am a Peaceful Soul; God Shiva is my Supreme Father.

2. I am a Godly student; God Shiva is my Supreme teacher.

3. God Shiva is my Sadhguru; I am Master Sadhguru.

4. God Shiva is my life partner; I am God Shiva's life partner.

The Soul conscious stage/yoga stage becomes natural when all relations are established with Shiva Baba, and the duty of that relation is practised in the Brahmin life.

While in the Soul-Conscious stage, Murli should be read with the feeling that the Supreme Teacher and Sadhguru Shiv Baba are talking to me directly and teaching me personally.

Subtle Pride and Cluelessness.

At present, two main weaknesses or defects are visible in the effort of those who are making an effort everywhere, and - due to such flaws - they cannot show the wonders they should. What are these two weaknesses? On one side, there is arrogance; on the other, there is ignorance. Both these aspects make your efforts slack. Arrogance is also very subtle. Because of arrogance, if someone gives even the slightest signal for your progress, then, in a subtle way, there isn’t tolerance, but there is instead the thought: “Why did this one say this?” This is said to be “arrogance in a subtle way”.

If someone gives a signal, consider that signal to be a means for your progress in the present and also the future. There should also be the practice of merging that signal in yourself and the power to tolerate that signal. Subtly, there is also upheaval in your attitude and vision: “Why did this happen? How did this happen?” This is not said to be “the soul-conscious stage”. When listening to praise, you feel love in your vision and attitude towards that soul. So, if someone signals for your guidance, is there the feeling of love in that, too, and of being a well-wisher for that soul - that that soul is a great well-wisher for you? Such a stage is called “the soul-conscious stage”.

If you are not soul conscious, then, in other words, it would be called ‘arrogance’. This is why you are not able to tolerate insults. On the other hand, you become entirely ignorant. You are deceived in many aspects because of this reason, too. Some pretend to be ignorant to protect themselves, whereas others are ignorant. So, instead of these two things, imbibe self-respect and humility through which both these two things will finish. In your thoughts, let there be the awareness of self-respect; in your words and deeds, let there be the stage of humility, and arrogance will then finish.

You have become philosophers but have yet to become spiritual: that is, you have yet to develop this spirit. Those who stay in the soul-conscious stage - in the intoxication of soul consciousness - are called ‘spiritual’. But nowadays, they are visible more as philosophers and have very little spiritual power. A spirit can do so much in one second. Just as a magician can show such wonders in a second, in the same way, those with spirituality develop the art of attaining success in whatever they do. Those people (magicians) have the art of doing everything successfully with their hands, whereas this is an embodiment of success in every thought and every deed.

Success means attainment. Listening to and relating points is known as ‘philosophy’. Philosophy has a temporary impact, whereas spirituality influences all time. So, to succeed in your every deed, you must bring about spirituality. To be ignorant means that you do not become an embodiment of whatever you hear. A worthy teacher gives teachings through being an embodiment of those teachings. That one’s form will be complete of the teachings. Their way of looking and walking will give teachings to others, just as you saw how every action of the sakar form - as a teacher - was that of spirituality in a practical way. In other words, you call this ‘the divine activity.’

To give teachings to someone through words is a common thing. However, everyone wishes to have an experience. It would help if you experienced the power of your elevated thoughts and deeds. Okay.

The method taught by the Supreme Teacher and Sadguru Shiv Baba after reading Murli is "Churning."

Shiv Baba explained the method of churning in four Murlis.

01.02.1979

23.12.1987

10.01.1988

07.04.1981

The power of churning is the food for the divine intellect.

"What is the essence of each statement? At what time and by what method should each sentence be used in action? And by what method should each sentence be used in action in service to other souls?"  - Each sentence should be churned in these four ways.

By churning the knowledge, we will have powerful thoughts, stage, and awareness.

By churning the knowledge, we will automatically remember The bestower of knowledge, Shiv Baba.

To know the thoughts used for churning, see the column heading “Treasure of Powerful Thoughts.”
